Tarbell Associates represents the electric power industry for manufacturers of substation instrumentation and control products, communications systems, and substation test equipment.  Our home office is located in the commercial center of Novoto, California, on U.S. 101, 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, where we've maintained our office for 22 years.

Tarbell Associates was founded in 1978 by Peter Gallagher Tarbell (1941-96).  Pete designed Tarbell Associates to be a business tailored to serve the industry and clients in a friendly, personal way, a tradition which continues today.

Khorshed Dodge is our inside sales associate and office manager.  She is the friendly, charming and always efficient person who greets you on the phone, processes orders, solves problems and keeps the office running smoothly.  Khorshed has been with Tarbell Associates since 1988.

Jim Flanagan joined the firm in 1994, as Tarbell Associates expanded to meet the needs of a growing industry and to keep Tarbell at the leading edge in technology and service.  Jim has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Montana State University, and 13 years experience as a protection engineer with Pacific Gas & Electric.  His experience and technical knowledge are assets to manufacturer and user.
